Keith Ayling is an award winning singer-songwriter, performer and one of the foremost speakers on songwriting in the UK. In 2018 he will speak for TEDx on songwriting and creativity.

In 2018 he was invited on to the judging panel for the Song Academy Competition as well as speaking at the Music Ed Expo in London. In 2017 he spoke at two national music education conferences, twice at Cambridge University and has recently been appointed Senior Lecturer in Songwriting at Leeds College of Music. Over a 32 year career he has released 14 albums and appeared on BBC, iTV, Five and MTV, founded multiple arts programmes for leading charities and managed media departments for national associations such as the National Association of Music Teachers – the MTA. In 2001 he released the UK’s biggest selling CCM album.

SONGWRITING WORKSHOPS

Keith Ayling is regularly visiting schools, colleges and universities with songwriting workshops that incorporate his fast songwriting method. To book him for the 2018/19 academic year get in touch as soon as possible.

Workshops can begin with whole class presentations moving to small group work using songwriting techniques that get students writing creatively whatever their musical ability – particularly helpful for GCSE, A Level and BTEC. Seminars and Q&A sessions can focus on songwriting techniques and music business experience.
